Rim question...
Hey guys... I cant decide which is better for my car! I have a 98 Honda Civic DX. I was thinking about 16 inch with, what I was told was good, a 205/45/16 tire, but those are pretty expensive... especially the tires! I am now considering a 15 inch rim... what do you guys think? What size tires would go with them? Oh and I am going to lower the car with coilover sleeves... thinking about 2 inches.
I'm going through the same thought process. You can get super-lightweight Konig Helium 15s for $400. Each one is 10.8 lbs. On the other hand, the 16-inch wheels look better, especially when you see all those MiniCoopers that have huge wheels (for the size of the car). Rota Slipstreams in 16-inch size are aboyt 15 lbs each (their 15 inchers are 12.5 lbs, I believe). The 16 inch Rotas run $480 - $500 (shipped). I'm kinda leaning toward the 16s.
