BIG QUESTION - where can i find decent priced tires? i hav 18s, so i guess my preferred dimensions are 215/40-18

there sure is, downgrad to 16's lol. it's your car man, but if you want performance/looks then i would stick with 16's and at the VERY most 17's

Yeah let me rephrase that, 16's for performance, 17" for looks/performance, 18" for looks, with a nice drop and a wheel tuck i agree, they can look sick

Even with 17"s the ride suffers horribly, but dude, 15"s if your one of the JDM heads

yup, with 17s every time you go over a pothole it makes a loud BAM noise and it's bumpy instead of soft and cushiony

pretty much agreeing with everyone, 17 should be as big as you go on a civic, but I think 16s are the best. some people say 15s, but ive found that you cant get very many good tires in performance sizes in 15s. the widest you can get is usually 205, and almost no one carries 15s in anything shorter than a 50 sidewall, and thats pretty big for a 205 tire.

oh, and for the 18s, I would get 215/35/18 because it will give you a little more room inside the wheel well so they dont rub as much when you turn.
