If I were you, I'd keep the wheels under 18 lbs each.

RE: rims
Hey I have 1998 Honda Civic Ex and i am playing on getting some rims for this car. It Has around 115,000 miles on it. I was going to buy some 17 inch rims but when I talked to my uncle (who is a mechanic) he said that these rims are to big for this car. What should I do. Does the 17 inch chrome rims hurt the suspension of the car. because I really want to get chrome rims for my car.

RE: rims
To the guy with the 98 civic: The bigger you go, the heavier they are, and that means your car is slower. Stay away from huge ricey chrome rims and get 16's for your car. If you get 17's you might want to invest in a camber kit and small tires so they dont rub on your fender. Get some HX wheels. They are super light and they look great on EG/EK civics. And they are cheap. Honda makes some awesome OEM rims so just look around for GSR Fat Fives (look awesome on EG/EK), GSR Blades (im not a big fan but some are), HX wheels, SI wheels, etc.
