What rim and tire size should I go with for my 93 civic 4dr?I'm gonna be lowered 3-4 inch's with coil overs and I want her to look sick!!!Let me know what size would look and perform the best over all?Thanks!!!!

 

smaller rims perform better... at least acceleration wise. simple physics really: small rims accelearate faster but larger rims will maintain a high speed better

oh yea, and don't get 19". nobody puts those on a civic

18" is kinda large - not very popular

16/17" is what most people want

16" for a balance between perfoamance and looks, 15" for performance, 17" for looks. anything more and you are wasting your money/ asking for trouble

 

i dont think thats completely true...lol...i havent ever really had ant troubles with my 18's and being lowered about 2in.I go through tires about every year and a half and have just a bit of camber in the back.Road wise it prolly isnt the smoothest but i blame alot of that on my shocks and coilovers.I just always wanted to fill the gap up when i wanted to do mine.

go with the 17

 

I would say 17 on your list. I have 18s and they look good but are more trouble then anything plus I lost so much torque when I switched them. And if you get 19 you probably either have a show car or are just stupid lol.

 

why not get 19's and throw some super swampers on that sum biach?

 

I seen a 06 with 20's but they don't look that great...So I guess 17's will be good enough!!!

 

I want the car low so a larger rim will just create more problems to get a sweet look to the car so the 17 would be big enough for a drop of 3-4 inch's!!!I think 15 or 16 would be better for speed but a tad to small for my look I want to get!!!Thanks.
