Default Rota Slipstream question

This has probably been asked before...
Does anyone know if 16x7.5 slipstreams will have problems with rubbing? I put my buddies 15x7.5 slipstreams on my Civic to check the clearance and it seemed pretty tight, but the rims were a little to small I thought. I was considering 16x7 or 7.5.

Thanks

Stock ride height?

If you have rubbing issues it will likely be on the inside of the wheel well while making corners with the steering wheel at or near full lock.

If you lower the car I bet that the 15" would probably look big enough to you. (try for 15x6.5 though)

If you have a choice, you should get 16x7 instead of 16x7.5 though. 16x7 will fit no problem for sure. 16x7.5 will likely have minor occasional rubbing at stock height, severe rubbing at a lowered ride height.

15s will look great if the car is dropped. But if all you can get your hands on are the 16x7.5 go for it i guese.

a tire size would also be helpful in determining rubbing, since that will be what will do almost all the rubbing if there is any.

Cool, Thanks guys.

I have a Tokico HPK201 kit so it is dropped about 1.5". 15s will save me some money, and they did look good. I'm not sure why people are charging $100 more for one more inch of rim 15s vs 16s. I'll go with 15s.

Thanks again
