it seems like every civic owner wants rotas? why, theyre not unique, theyr'e cheap, theyr'e ripoffs. thats why I don't like them. it especially pisses me off when kids think it's "JDM" to buy rotas... wtf.

end of rant
i'm not getting rotas to be "JDM", (my car is an american car, not a japanese car), it "seems" like every civic owner is getting rotas because their line of wheels are made primarily made tocompliment the looks of civics, Nor am i getting them to be "UNIQUE" because we all have civics along with millions of other people, and i know they're cheap (that's kinda why people buy them), i know they're ripoff's (why pay three times as much just so you can say....."yeah, that's right, they'rereal spoons" when no one really cares).........so wtf?

end of my rant
forgot one thing, how can rotas be JDM if they aren't even made in japan, but rather made in the phillipines........
Lol, he's being sarcastic. He's making fun of the kids that know nothing and think everything is JDM.

actually if someone called slips JDM i wouldnt argue with them...not because they are JDM (theyre not)...but because they are knock-offs of a wheel that is the definition of JDM.

i called you ignorant because your opinion on Rotas is uninformed and...ignorant i suppose. Rota in no way makes most of its sales on ebay. Look at almost any performance wheel dealer and they will carry Rotas. Also...to call them a crappy cheap knockoff is only 2/3's correct...they are cheap and they are knockoffs of Spoon SW-388's...but they are in NO WAY AT ALL CRAP. i use this statement fairly loosely (though i doubt you would find much opposition anywhere): they are the best auto crossing wheel for the price.THAT is why everyone with a civic has them, not to look JAYDEE-EM...but because they are amazing wheels for a fantastic price. i think it was Caleb who said this a year or so ago...'its not the best because everybody has them, everybody has them because its the best.'

do NOT come in here flashing around your stupidity by knocking something in an uninformed way like that. if you have beef with something, then at least be able to back it up with actual facts...not stupid biased opinions of a twelve-year-old.

oh...one more thing...if you really didnt give a flying **** then you wouldnt have bothered responding.

woah woah, im not gonna get into a huge arguement with you over the internet.

i said it was MY opinion, u dont have to agree with it. Rota's are cheap, crappy, knockoff's and im sticking by my statement.

what makes a wheel an autocrossing wheel? to me it something that is crappy and if it gets scuffed up it wont matter cuz theyr'e ****. IMO.

Meh, I'm going to disagree, because they don't make Slipstreams in a size that's eligible for stock class in most 92-00 Civics.

but really, not that many civic owners that autox qualify for stock class anyway. almost everyone has at least one thing done to their car rather than wheel size that disqualifies them from the stock class.

the people you know, and the people on this site maybe, but that's NOT the autocross community.

also, you may be surprised how many things you're allowed to modify, and still qualify for Stock.

i know, i was talking about civics, not cars in general. and i know the modifications for the different classes, you can still get away with a few things to still be considered in the stock class.

yeah I was talking about Civics too, not cars in general. No 14x5.5 =

my friend runs 17x7.5 Koseis on his STS integra; at that size the price is basically the same and the Koseis are 3 lbs. lighter than the Rotas

anyway, I don't have anything bad to say about Rotas in general, did you order yours yet?
