RE: S-Techs: Install Myself or Shop
there is a hole in the top of the strut rod for an allen wrench/key so you dont have to risk jacking up the threads with a pair of pliers. you can rent a spring compressor from any auto parts store and do it your self. i did my springs by myself in about 3 hours. oh,and pb blaster is the best sh*t ever made.

Auto stores will carry it, Napa, AZ, AAP, etc.. As well as hardware stores like my04 said.
You can also rent the compressors from Autozone. It'll cost you like $80 but you get all of it back when you return them

gena need spring compressors, allen keys, sockets, wrenches, pb blaster, maybe a hammer, jacks, jack stands, recommend a tq wrench, a very large breaker bar if u dont have air tools, help from a friend that may kno atleast a lil about what their doing, and LOTS of time. i suggest having the whole day open just incase anything goes wrong. also might want some other form of transportation(that friend) incase u need to hit up the auto store or w/e. also a backup plan. theres a good chance u might break a LCA bolt in the rear, if that happens u could try to get it out urself by drilling or w/e means, or if ur tired of working on it, take it to a shop. i'd highly suggest buying a lil torch from home depot for like $10-15 and heating up that LCA bolt before going at it. if u do heat it up, u'll need new bushings and possibly boltsaswell. good luck!
