Default SPRINGS

hey im picking up a set of stock springs today and i am going to cut them... ( yes i know its not a good idea but its temp... and yes i know i can go on ebay and spend 40 bux and get some coilovers... yes i know cutting them will still give me a bouncy ride... yes i know that the springs can come off of the strut... yes i know that its not safe... yes i know it will blow my stock struts... and yes i know i can cause perminante damage to my car... ) just wanted to throw all that out there before i got attacked .... Now i just was wondering if anyone has done this and if they could tell me how to do it??? i have also heard about clamping or something like that can anyone inform me on that please??? thank you so much guys

lolz...just look at all the pics of 6th gen civics lowered, ur car lowered wont look much different than theres. ur gena take off ur suspension, cut the springs, put it back on, and then buy another suspension, take off the suspension again, install new suspension, and then finallly be happy(maybe). huge waste of time and a big headache ahead of u. but since u seem pretty set on doing this, have fun.

If you wanna see how your ride will look with a drop, post a pic in the chop shop along with the request. We can photoshop a drop on it for you. Cutting your spings is NOT a good idea...by the time you were done typing out all the negatives you were/are sure to get flamed over you should have thought better of it. What happens if you dont like the way it looks...or you cut too much...or you do blow your struts while you are "seeing if you like it". Then you have to replace all of that...kind of a waste of money and time don't you think?

If you want a temporary idea of how it will look lowered...get a bunch of fat people to sit in it...otherwise I suggest the chop shop.
