Default Which springs and exhaust to run?

Hey guys im new here and just bought a used 2002 civic lx coupe. It has wheels already and nice aftermarket leather and now im looking at lowering it and putting on an exhaust. My question is which springs are good for a 2 inch drop and can be used with stock shocks? The car is an automatic unfortunately and i need a nice ricy kinda soundin' exhaust? Keep in mind i am on a budget. Any suggestions would help. Thanks alot!

springs = Tein S-tech (1.9" drop in front, 1.7" in rear)
ricy kinda soundin' exhaust = ebay muffler welded onto stock tubing

my S-Techs wer elike $170 from www.clubcivic.com

and read the EXHAUST FAQ over in the Header, Intake, Exhuast section for info about the exhaust systems

and ricey is bad thing, ricey would be high pitched, waaay too loud and just be annoying as hell. Rice is something you never want (but an ebay muffler welded on stock pipig would give you that noise, like mentioned earlier)

get a megan racing muffler and weld it to stock piping. i just did it to mine and it has a nice deep deep tone to it. i hate that ricy sound. it just sounds like ****. i thought it would sound like that but i was wrong. really wrong. its really nice, its not to loud and i cant even hear when its at idle or cruzing on the highway at like 80. the only time u hear it is if your accelerating quickly.

Either get good springs/struts and forget the exhaust or get a new exhaust and skip the springs.
Correct me if I'm wrong... when you alter the ride height by 2 inches or more, you are going to want alignment parts to adjustthe camber. I believe that when you drop the spring height, the angle of the wheel will go inward thus putting more wear on the inside edge of the tires.

Ricy kinda soundin' exhaust...contact Nopi. They will hook a brutha up.

for a 7th gen civic the springs that'll give you a 2" drop are neuspeed, progress, intrax, goldline, or tanabe. be sure to get something with a progressive or higher spring rates and get an alighnment right after the install. the springs will be between $160-$200.
