RE: springs only?

Actually, how long your stockers last has more to do with the spring rates than the drop. The S-Tech's are really the only mainstream springs that are DESIGNED to be used with stock struts, so I wouldn't go with anything else.

What kappa said. Also, you wouldn't necessarily need a camber kit. After you drop it just go get an alignment. This will ensure proper tire wear.

Do certain years of civics allow for camber adjustment and others don't? I was under the impression that you need a camber kit... for example my 94 civic, lowered about 1.5-1.75" and was unable to adjust the camber because there is no camber adjustment. You can get VERY small amounts adjusted but I think I was sitting at like -2 or something... they say 1 degree either way is usually okay but anything more than that will cause noticeable wrong tire wear... An alignment shop could not adjust my camber without the kit so I have uneven tire wear....

With a standard spring drop you dont need a camber kit or new shocks... most springs are designed to work with stock shocks, and like Kappa said... especially the TEINs. Ive had TEINs (2.5" drop) for over 2 years now with no camber kit and stock shocks. Still feel as good as day one.

and yes, that sig is huge:D
