squeaky turns
whenever i turn my steering wheel u can hear a loud squeak but i can't figure out where it is coming from. when the car is raised (on a jack) there is no squeaking when i turn it, so i can't go under the car and listen. it also squeaks when the car bounces. whats weird is last week when it was warm it didnt squeak and now it got cold again and it started again. my brother told me that its the rubber on the springs. that they are hard when they get cold and thats y its squeaking. a friend of mine sed it could be the axle, then another friend sed he had that problem b4 and his father fixed it for him. he isnt sure what it was, something about a ball joint? any ideas??
here is a video i took from inside the car. volume's pretty low gotta turn ur volume up.

i searched but i found a thread that sed the P/S belts. but y would the belts squeak when the car bounces. has to be suspension im guessing. im gonna jack it up and put bricks under the wheels so i can turn the wheels when its raised. this way i can listen from underneath.
I also have this issue. It started about a week ago when it started getting cold, so maybe it's linked to that? but it never did it in the past years. i also tried taking the wheels off to see where it is coming from but the squeak disappears. It only happens when there is a load on the tires. also, mine still does it even when the car is warm, but not when the car bounces. could anyone shed some light on this issue?

i dont think it would be your ps belts but check the fluid level. Otherwise check your boots on your ball joints....boot is prolly crap so it will need to be replaced. That would cause it to squeak when you turn....and check your wheel bearings.
checked the power steering fluid and the belt and they were fine. i sucked out as much of the power steering fluid as i could and put in new fluid. went under the car and oiled up every where the squeak may be coming from. boots looked good but I squeezed grease into a couple of ball joints and the squeak still persists. again it happens when the car bounces and when i turn the wheel. the car still drives fine and everything feels tight. could it be the strut?

if its squeaking when ya turn the wheel on the ground.... could it just be the tires squeaking on the concrete? i know mine does out in the shop.
if its on concrete slap some dirt or oil on the floor under the wheels and do it again
it could be just nothing at all....
