Default squek in the right rear

alright, here's the story. im plannin on getting this 94 civic dx. but when i went to test drive it last night................ when i go over every bump there is this annoying squeking noise. i think the whole strut needs replaced. but when i talked to the owner, he just said a bunch of civic's and honda's springs do this when the cars get older.

so, what do you guys think about this noise? should i let it go or replace something?

thanks in advance

I did not have such a noise on any of my three civics, including '92...

likely its the suspension bushings. Age will cause these suckers to wear out eventually, and they will start to squeak. have someone bounce the car and have your head close to the suspension and see if you can zero in on where its coming from. OR spray your bushings with WD-40 and bounce again. if that takes care of the noise you have an easy fix till you can replace em.

Prolly the strut, or coilover could help
