o come on you dont work on a car with sandles on.... i like my toes.

but drop looks good i plan on droping my silver civic that much but keeping it that low! ya im gonna be nuts with it. with it being low in the front you need to keep an eye on the front splash guards. if you get a cut in them or actualy even if you dont...
remove the inner fender splash shield and if you have a cut off blade and welder then cut 2 slits on the outter edges of the upper bracing and with a hammer bend it over that way it doesnt act like a knife and slice thru the tires and inner fender. i think thats what i was hitting alot on my black civic when i had it pretty low.
hows the rear looking that low with those SI wheels? you got any pics of it to post up from the side? id like to see the rear really low with SI wheels!

We brought it up a little, 3/4 in, but it's still not enough. I don't want it to be that low. I am not going for 'looks' I am going for performance, and having a car that low is not functional at all. If I were going to bring it to a show, I'd lower the coilovers, but siince it won't be at a show any time soon, the performance takes prevalence. Those are the only pictures I have right now. Once I tune it and bring it up a little more then I'll post more pictures.

A note to everyone installing coilovers: as you can tell, coilover bodies are MUCH shorter than factory systems and they still compress, dropping the car thus farther. If you go with coilovers to only achieve 1-2" drop, expect to set the perches and body to the lowest setting on the damper with only an 1-2" of threads on the body. The lower you ride on coilovers, the shorter the life of the damper, expect a rebuild in half the time.
