Default Strange sound after tire rotation

Bah, I knew rotation was for suckers. I've never rotated tires in my life, but decided to just this once. And now I'm getting this strange noise coming from the front end near the wheels/suspension. Almost like a steady vibration as I get up to speed, and coast down to a stop.

This sucks, I should have left well enough alone..used to put 50k+ on a set of tires and never rotate them once.

I don't know, that's what I was wondering too. They just swapped front to back directly, so as far as I know, were put back in same direction they came off on.

Check the pressures. The rear tires should be less inflated than the front. See if they're worn evenly, your rear alignment may be off.

Ok, will do. Would installing the 4-piece strut bar set recently have anything to do with this? It started around the same time.

I didn't, but supposedly they did. I'll check again.

FWD cars are notorious for "cupping" the rear tires.....how long were they on the rear before you rotated them. This uneven tire wear is a result of the rear struts/shocks allowing the tires to bounce some......you may have waited too long to rotate them and the best thing to do is to put them back and wear them out......good luck!

You might need to get them rebalanced.
