Default Suspension Bushings

I saw these while I was browsing Ebay...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/99-00...QQcmdZViewItem

and was wondering If I plan on tossing on some coilovers and LCAs in the near future would these be easy to toss on along with them and how exactly do they affect my handling?

They are a VERY good, cheap upgrade, but the install can be a pain depending on what tools you have, how much time you want to spend, and if you like setting things on fire...

for an overview of how they help, go here! http://www.energysuspensionparts.com/faq.asp (scroll down)

Im still not quite sure on how they help. Do they help line your suspension components up ebtter and keep them in line better then the crappy OEM bushings? Also what all do I have to do to put them in. I like setting things on fire and getting dirty haha

Edit: I found a good writeup on them. So about how many bushings would I be replacing?

basically, yeah.

I installed mine by burning out the OEM rubber with a torch, cutting/chiseling the metal sleeve out, and installing the poly bushings with a ball joint press. there's more than one way to do it, though.

it's a must on older cars. the rubber doesn't last forever.

think of suspension bushings as sneakers.

you're bustid old smelly converses or vans have no cushioning left, and the cushioning it did originally have sucked in the first place.

buy a new pair of nikes and you're athletic performance shoots up to a whole new level, because the rubber in the soles and material in the uppers are way superior.

that's how aftermarket suspension bushings work. they're more taught and have more torsional rigidity, which makes cornering easier under load.

Alright. Im gonna keep an eye on that auction for sure after reading some reviews on them. Then if I get them I'll have to get work off a couple of days to get thosebiches in.
