Hey civic jockeys, I just want to know more info on rims such as what metal type (tough metal) should I get and if the OEM HFP is good preferably 18 inch. I want to get gunmetal or something like black chrome that gives it luster, if you guys know what they are called please tell me. If you have any brand prefences tell me. The car is black.

 

What your talking about is paint colors

 

I want to know, if there are alloy rims with a black chrome look or if I have to get it painted to look like that on alloys and what rim is tough enough not to bend from going into a pothole. Someone told me he went into a small puddle and his rim bent. He suggested me to go get stock rims instead of aftermarket. I want to know what are the tough rims out there. What brands?

 

nothing more than 17" wheels and id go with some bronze type of wheel for the black car

 

Really? Not white or gunmetal. I wasn't going to get black b/c I see that it's too common. I was also debatingbetween 17 inch and 18 inch. Thanks for the insight.

 

this is what your gonna look like with 18's.

 

most wheels are cast, some of the lighter weight wheels are forged. 18's on an 8th gen. looks good and it wont make him look likesome 4x4 like the older gen. civics. the Honda HFP wheels i believe are 18x7's..



i think these are 17's, could be 18's tho, i cant remember..

Actually 17s on those new model civics dont look half bad. I would suggest bronze on a black car though.
