I'd say go with the skunk2's... the higher spring rates will help if you're going to autoX. Also, I'd recommend looking into lightweight wheels with stickier tires.

yes im thinking of getting 14" or 15" at the most. As for the tires Im going with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires, they are amazing (so iv read) in the wet. I live in the Pacific North West and it rains all the time. Maybe Ill get some Azenis, but again the wet driving is what Im worried about.

the Azenis really arnt that bad in the rain. im close to the wear indicators on mine and they grip when its raining. but, they can hydroplane easily so higher speeds are very iffy. another big thing is being caught in a flash storm, ill usually wait it out. i love how sticky they are when dry tho

i got some Skunk2 Pros that i'm willing to sell you for $550. I decided to go with ones that were dual ride height. So i need to get rid of the Pros. I'm just throwing that out there in case you want to buy them off me.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but...that suspension won't do you any good on those tires. guaranteed you will get too much sidewall flex and not enough grip.

does anyone know what dampers Skunk2 uses? do they make their own? I know the Teins haven't been proven to be consistent.

weak sidewalls and a tiny bit to low pressure for racing...his sidewalls were chewed up after the race lol.

I don't know how much autocross experience you have so forgive me if you have heard this before. But people say (when you're starting out) the best thing you can do to improve your skills is instruction and seat time. All you need to do to "prep" the car is have the right tires and good brakes. Your choice of tire (and tire size!) makes a HUGE impact.

I dont have lots of experience at all, it will be my 4th time out on the 22nd of this month. My sister has been in autocross with her 95 civic si for almost 3 years so I get alot of info from her. Ill ask her about the sidewall thing, and what a good tire is for my set up.
