tein s-teck installed
yeah, on my ej8 the s-techs gave me about a finger gap if not less with 205/40/17 tires. they are pretty close to stock spring rates, so the ride shouldn't be that much different.
and yeah, someone asked about camber? they highly suggest camber kits on anything 2" drop or more. i mean, u can't go wrong getting a camber kit for less...just if u go 2" or more drop, you should definately look into it.

I have had them on for about almost 4 months now, stock struts and no camber kit....no problems with the struts (knock on wood) and after i got them insalled i went to go get an alinment and it was perfect..it dident make a differece at all..if you decide to get them you wont be dissipointed..amazing ride and handling and not to low, perfect ride hight, just enoph to notice

I just installed the same springs on my same colour civic 2 days(in fact our cars look like twins, also still running factory tires and wheels with hubcaps lol) with factory shock and love the ride. I still haven't gone for allignment but now I'm wondering if I really need to after reading your post.
Thanks
when i went to go get a alinment they give you a sheat back saying how much my wheels were off and they were not off at all...umm but you no,i think you should just go get a alinmanet anyways, the guy who installed then sead i dident need it, but after the alinment i felt betten knowing that it was fine...and i just looked at my tires yesterday,no wear
I've been looking at these same springs for my hatch but i'm wondering if I should go ahead and change my shocks since my car is a 91. I figure they need replacing anyways because of how old they are and they will probably blow out faster if i put these springs on it. Thanks for letting us all know how good these springs really are, i've finally made up my mind!
no problem, ya i would go ahead and change the shocks at the same time, it will save you some time in the long run too when you would have to take everything apart again..theres alot of posts about different shocks and shock with tein springs..so just go back a couple pages, but there a great buy, you wont be dissipointed[sm=groupwave.gif]
Since this topic is around all the time, I have some questions about my car. I have some type of springs on my car currently, that leave about a 2.5 finger gap. But, my camber looks negative enough, to where I need a camber kit.
So either I buy a camber kit? or change out whatever type of springs my 01 LX came with to S-techs? I'm leaning towards getting rid of whatever cheap springs are installed. Whats your suggestions?
