the 18s weigh a lot more than the 15s. they take more power to get them spinning, and take longer to make them stop. my buddy put 23s on his tahoe, and he literally has to stand on the brake pedal to get it to stop now, hes not sure he likes them, it feels dangerous if he has to stop quickly. go with 15s or 16s if youre worried about performance, and 17s if youre not.

civicboy01: there is a lot of ugly crap on Tirerack.com. There are a lot of brands that they do not seem to carry. Check Ebay.

When I first bought my car, without consulting anyone I bought 18" rims. I must admit that they look nice on the car but I live in New York (pothole city) and now performance is not good unless you're driving on the highway without bump or holes.
I do find alot rougher. The rims hit hard on the potholes and bumps which results in a bumpier ride. I need to change them to get 16" rims for better performance and ride.

Rotas are a great choice if you are wanting to upgrade sizes. they are lightweight, so you wont notice the difference too much, and are as strong as they can be at that weight without going to an Uber-expensive forging design. Look to the 17 inch Circuit-10s, if I go 17s, thats what im getting. prices are about as good as any wheel you will find, and for the quality you get, its a great deal.
