Time for me to address suspension.
Okay yall so I have been looking at pictures of you doing your autox and such well I found that in a couple months SCCA will be doing som events here in oregon. And guess what I want to go! So I want to doa new suspension on my car, this is what I am looking for, I only want to lower the car an inch if that, I dont want adjustable's I want it to be set and not have to deal with it again. Now I want very good cornering ability but something that offers dome help for bumps in the road ( I live in a farming community). The other thing it has to be something sportcompactonly.com sells becasue I will be buying from them since I have a huge gift card to use there. Oh also what is the best camber kit to use? Thanks yall

RE: Time for me to address suspension.
after looking at their site and checking out some spring rates I'd suggest this; it won't be extreme enough to be uncomfortable on the street, but you will see an improvement in cornering
springs: Eibach pro-kit. ~1.5" drop, mildly stiffer than stock. $203
shocks: something adjustable, you will appreciate it later. Koni Yellows, $492; or Tokico Illuminas, $418
swaybar: Suspension Techniques 3/4" rear bar only, $160
camber kit: don't worry about it
alignment: $60-80 at your shop of choice
total: $840-940 depending on exactly what you pick.

$1,000 for non-adjustable suspension??? and you want to autocross???
and you want to use a camber kit but you only want a minimal drop???????
get an ITR rear sway bar ($100) and start from there...

Yup, Suspension Techniques makes a 7/8" bar too, that's the one I have.
I suggested the smaller one though, because the springs won't be too stiff, you don't want a ridiculously stiff swaybar with soft springs. Also, the 7/8" bar costs twice as much.
it's his DD first and autocross is second. I can tell from his first post that he doesn't want something really aggressive, that's why I suggested what I listed above.

RE: Time for me to address suspension.
Your right nothing to aggresive just smething that will help me out in the cornering and enough to do a decent job in an autox event, but at the same time it will also be hitting the dragstrip this summer to. And yes I do have an ek coupe. When I bought the car in had ebay crapjustable on it, biggest pain in my ***. So thats why I kind of want to shy away from them, bad experiance. But my question is wont even the slightest drop cause the tires to wear prematurely? Thanks yall

that tiny bit of negative camber that you will end up with is not going to destroy your tires; hell, negative camber in the front is GOOD for better cornering. Most people don't know this, but bad TOE settings will wreck your tires before bad camber. Stock, toe is adjustable both front and rear on our cars. You don't need a camber kit.
