wow that was some seriously interesting article. Took me the better part of an hour but I never realized how many good tires are out there at a good price. The parents always force me to go for the big brands like bridgestone and michellin because they believe all brands are inferior to the big ones. Being that I still use their money to survive, I had to make them happy, but now that I have learned that there are other brands that offer comparable or even better performances at a better price, I'll talk to my parents so they would know more.

Thanks for this discussion. I just bought a 2005 Civic sedan and need tires. The Potenzas are worn, and there are newer Miradas on front. I'm thinking of just getting all Dunlop. I've had Dunlops on a 01 Civic and they worked well.

Nexen 5000, They are pretty good. I think i paid 75each
