You answered your own question, congrats!!! Yes you'll need the struts, springs/shocks, cambers AND an alignment!

get an alignment no matter how low you take your car.

$60 for an alignment now, versus $200 and up for a set of new tires later is always better.

If you're going to drop the car more than 1.5 you will NEED after market shocks... your stock ones will die a miserable and early death and cause danger to you and your passengers.

Yes... like what you typed before... You can get a full coilover kit that is fully adjustable... As long as you have a camber kit you can set a height you want and just get your car realigned and you're good to go.

I never hear anything bad about a full kit... except that they are expensive... but if you're piecing it together you'll probably get the same price anyways!

^^ I disagree with you, plenty of people here run Teins and OEM shocks with no problems. Where are you getting this magic 1.5" from?

you don't NEED a camber kit for a drop that small. But any time you take your suspension apart and put it back together, you should get an alignment, to make sure everything is in spec again.

u should start considering a camber kit if u go lower than about 1.75". alot of ppl with the tien stechs, which are appx. a 1.75" drop, do not have camber kits and are just fine. if u do go that low or lower, u'll prolly want/need new shocks. when lowered, get an alignment. some places offer free lifetime alignments so if something happens, like u hit a bad pothole and it knocks ur alignment off, u can just go there and get it done real quick.

pick your alignment place carefully... once you're lowered your car might not make it on the lift at some shops.
