Default trailer hitch??

Hey guys

This is slightly off topic, but i wasn't sure where to post this question.

Where can I get a trailer hitch for a 2005 civic LX sedan? I need a hitch to attach my bike rack to. Do i have to buy one of those "Hidden Hitch" things or a reese hitch or can i just get a small bolt-on hitch?

Thanks

Mahones

I'm not sure that you can, I've seen the little 3/4" hitches on civics but I think they look stupid. For your bikes either get one that straps over the trunk lid or get a rack on the roof! The reason why I say that a hitch might not be possible is because of the fact that there is no "chassis". It's a unibody constructed vehicle so i don't know what it would bolt/weld up to! Hope someone else can better help you out mahones!

I think U-Haul makes one that bolts to your car. Well, kinda bolts. I belive they use big metal plates on both top and bottom bolted together through the trunk.

Ive seen those bike rack things destroy rear bumpers too though. be carefull and spare no expense on what ever you decide if you value your car.
