Default What to get...

I know this has been posted alot about before but im ready to buy the parts to lower my car and I want to be sure on what to get. I’m 16 and I just got my 1992 Honda civic hatchback Si. Its got 150,000 miles on it and I paln on getting some GS-R blades on it and lowering it. The whole suspension thing gets expensive really quick. Should I go with coilovers? Shocks and Struts, are those the same thing? Camber kit, do I need it or not? camber kit for the front and back? Im kind of confused on the whole suspension thing. Can somebody give me some suggestions on what to get to get a drop like this? Sorry for the big picture.

I have $1000 hopefully thats enough. If not I guess I can save more if I really need to. (the $1000 is for the suspension only not the wheels)

i got tein s tech lowering springs, gives u a awsome drop without worring about speed bumps and ****. Springs will cost u about 140 from ebay, installation like 200. Also the ride is better than stock no bouncing around
from tein site

if u want a good ride that won't **** u off get springs and struts.. i suggest eibach springs and kyb struts it might be a lil more expensive then the ebay garbage but your ride will be worth it.....get good parts first then you won't have to worry about it later...like they say do it right the first time

Thanks for the advice guys, I was thinking about going with an omni power coilover kit package from here

Are omni power coilovers good?

Omnipower is *decent* but drop the dough on some full coilover Teins. youll be really glad you did in the long run. and get an Omnipower, Blox, or Skunk2 camber kit (whichever is cheapest, they are identical, except for logos and such) best money you will ever spend on that car. and if you can pick up a set of sway bars too, your car will handle like a go-kart. esp with good tires. then youre ready for auto-x, to learn the limits and habits of your car. oh, and budget for an alignment too.
