It adds extra stiffness to the front suspension, and as for worth it, depends on if your willing to spend the money. For AutoX I'd prolly say yeah.

Unless you have <2 inches of clearence no it won't, these things are measure in mm width. It may however hit your header "B" pipe. I actually just ordered a Tanabe "H" brace, they call it underbody brace. I should get it before Christmas I'll post and take pictures after install. By the way for you 7th gens that might also be interested in an H brace, optionsimport.com has an error on their website listing our brace for ~$75, I checked Tanabes site, the MSRP is $198. now they did charge like $40 bucks for shipping, but that is still a steal, just a lil FYI before they fix it.

Can you have both the H-brace and front lower tie bar or only one for your car. Sorry for so many questions, I dont know too much about suspension stuff.

$200 for an h-brace is a lil pricey...u can get i think megan racing h-braces on ebay for like under $70 shipped. if u do wana spend about $200 on improving ur suspension, try and find a sway bar, thats the best thing to stiffen ur suspension for the money...as far as having both h-brace and low tie, im not 100% sure but i think u can have both.

good luck with everything!

I completely forgot about sway bars. Can you have a tie rod, h-brace, and a sway bar up front.

OK from what I've read on 7thgenciv the H brace replaces the front lower tie bar, but you CAN still have sway bar, might have to do a bit modification with an aftermarket sway bar. It could be possible to have both H brace and lower tie, but I know the H brace will bolt up to the same screws the lower tie will.
