Default wheel question....

ok well i found the rims that i like.........
BUT with the 16s the offset is 42.... now my old 17s where 40offset
and they stuck out just alittle bit..... but i think 42 would stick out to much... which i realy dont want em sticken out!

do any of you ran any rims that are 42offset and have pictures instaled?????

of do ya guys know of any rims like this that has the right offset if that 42 wont fit?

http://www.buywheelstoday.com/products/?id=3652

i realy like that style!!!!!!
looks like its got a nice deep lip and abunch of spokes which i like!

AND NOW i dont want to get the 15s.LOL
i wouldnt mind the 6.5wide if it was a 16....

how much weight do ya think i could save by doing the 15 over 16s... would i notice any performance over 16s? tho keep in mind mines a EX auto so its not much zippy anyways.lol
i thought about just geting 17s again but i would like alittle more comfortable ride so i think 16s are a nice compromise for style and comfort.
i dont plan on buying till spring at least.... if not alittle later... depending on cash.... needless to say if i got to do 2 wheels at a time ill do it that way. LMFAO

what was the width of your old rims, what is the width of your new rims?

if it's the same width, 42mm would stick out LESS than 40mm

Default RE: wheel question....

ya id love to have them in black instead of the gunmetal.... BUT i figure i can always scuff em up and paint em the factory black color of my car when i do my paint projects....

if they make them in black.... hit me up with a link where i can find em...

thanks for the link as well.... so ya think that with them being in alittle more if i would have any turning issues?

also when i eventualy do DO my air strut suspension.... should i downgrade the rims to 15s to get that 6.5inch width to keep from rubben the wheels on them?
tho doesnt look like ill be baggen my civic for awhile..... looks my truck sale has turned into a rental.LOL dont think he is gonna buy it cause of the shaved handles so my bro said hed just let me keep the 500bucks as rental for afew months.... O WELL... my truck will sell easier in spring anyways... then id have enough cash to pay off my bills and air strut my civic... and also get some train air horns for the civic nice little shock i plan on having. LMFAO get to look at peoples faces at the tire shop when they pull that in and honk the horn while scaring the **** outta all the other workers.... haahha (we all got dreams) one day.... it will come together!
