im sure u'll be happier with the Eibach Sportlines. little lower and will handle better. u can adjust the rebound on the shocks to make the ride smoother or more solid when u please.

 

you can also adjust the ride height some by changing the spring perch location on the shock body.

wheel/tire fitment depends a lot on wheel WIDTH, tire size, tire model, wheel offset, your alignment settings, etc. etc.

 

Ok, I think I know where I'm going now... Eibach Sportlines, and dual adjustable Koni yellows. We'll see how much my next paycheck is for, heh. Maybe I'll spend against the refund I know I will be getting on my income taxes...

Ride of the Month, here I come...

 

I'd save until you can afford some decent coilovers, especially if you'll ever drive the car in snow. If your tires are due for replacement soon, it's not gonna hurt to upgrade to 205/45-16s before doing the suspension. Make sure that whatever mods you do to the suspension are compatible with strut and anti-swaybars.

 

I disagree, the last thing you want to do is gunk the threads up with salt, and corrode the hardware.

 

coilovers...blah...I drove a dropped civic in some deep powder with no problem...

 

Plus, I live in San Luis Obispo, CA. I would have to drive hours before I could even see the snow, much less drive in it.

 

Not to revive a dead thread or anything, but I can find a deal on an entire Eibach kit at The Tire Rack. Its got sway bars, Sportlines, camber kit, and eibach shocks. I can't find any Koni certified people near me. Are Eibach shocks any good? They are a reputable company IMO, and Tire Rack says they are ready to go, just install and realign. This kit would be really nice because theres a garage with a 4.5 out of 5 rating right near me that I have done business with before, with great results. I have heard a lot of stories of people having a hard time getting their Konis to match up. Are Eibach shocks a no-go?
