Default Will 17x7.5 wheels rub????

Hi, quick question. I need to buy tires ASAP and found a set of 17x7.5 rims with 205/40/17 tires. Its an 04 civic and not lowered. Do you think I will rub at all with these wheels? thanks!!

What is the offset on the wheels?

Shouldn't rub I don't think if the offset is correct.

The diameter of the wheels are not 7.5", it is 17". the width is 7.5".

Offset could play a roll in rubbing if it was a 0 offset or something extreme. I had 6.5" BBS wheels on my car (15's) with a +33 offset and they rubbed like crazy over bumps. I simply needed to re-adjust the camber settings and I was good to go.

I am sure you will be fine with 7.5" (width) wheels as long as the offset is ~+40.
