Will Civic Type-R (K20A) breaks fit a '94 B16A Hatch?
Hi,
Will the full breaksfrom a Type-R (K20A) fit into my1994Civic VTi hatchback; the callipers, discs, pads and any other pieces required? i know the ITR system fits, but i want the newer type-r civic breaks
thanks

i cant get my hands on aftermarket breaks here in the UK, so i was thinking that a full break upgrade to a civic type-r system would be a good alternative. Civic stock parts are cheap here too. I was quoted £60($120 roughly) for a full set of front and rear discs and pads for my B16 VTi.
like i said, im fromTHE UK and tuning parts for the Honda are fewer and more expensive, yet stock parts are not - hence the Type-R suggestion.
all 2001 and later Civics have macpherson struts and not double wishbone suspension (like your car, and integras up through 2001)
there may be a way to make the caliper bolt to the knuckle, and get bigger rotors, but it will not be a direct suspension swap like you can do with the <2001 Integra parts.

it's not really possible (well, nothings impossible) but it WILL be cheaper to buy aftermarket upgrades rather than what you are insisting on, no matter where you live.

ok, i'll have a look, but as a fall back, it seems ITR b18 breaks will bolt straight on if i cant find aftermarket breaks?
