Default will my wheels fit??

hi, i hate to be a noob, but ive just bought an 02 civic 1.6 se and im thinking of putting a set of compomotive MO 17" wheels on it, and i know that they wont be too big, cause the type r's fit 17's but theyre 7.5 inches wide, will they rub on the wheel arches or am i gunna need wheel spacers?

thanks for any help
