Default will they get me by?

Just got my first honda (EF hatch) and am looking for a quick fix for my suspension. Someone that had the vehicle before me cut the springs and its not only too low but handles like crap. Need a cheap solution (would prefer lower than stock ride height) that can get me by until I can get the scratch together for a decent suspension set up. General consensus, from what I've found so far, is that the cheap ebay springs suck a big one... but will they get me by for a little while?

Oh, and here's a pic of what I mean by "too low" cant even get in my driveway. Major pain and I'm afraid I'm going to rip my exhaust or oil pan off going down the road.

Just find a cheap set of OEM springs and then save up. No point in spending money to buy crap to replace the crap on the car already.

You can get cheap OEM springs from the salvage yard.

Damn, I was afraid you guys were going to say that. What is a fair price for some used oem springs? One place wanted 150 for a set of 4... seemed a little ricockulous for used stock springs.

Try to find someone local on Craigslist that is parting out a car. Shipping would be the killer on something cheap like this.

I would also suggest checking eBay for OEM stuff.

Either that, or drive carefully, and save your money for a nice suspension set-up.
