ok, so, yea i'm resurecting this thread...

ya'll say they work if thier adjusted correctly, thats a question i've asked in the past and never got a reply on.. when you put these in, should you pre load them in one direction or the other? I'm thinking about getting/making myself a set, and for the front and rear upper, i can clearly see where it should go, but what about on the lower front and rear, where do they go/attach? I have a cnc milling machine, so if i can figure out where to mount them, i can probably just make a custom set outta 6061... then powder coat it to match my car...

 

Ok I am going to take some heat on this but strut bars in most cases do NOTHING unless your car has rust or suspension wear that the bar is slightly making up for. A Civic has a rather solid uni body. Those that auto cross on low profile rubber can pick up a few tenths IF they the know how to drive and set up a car. Those bars do nothing.
I raced a 914 and 911 in club events and believe me, tire pressure does more than that bar. Anybody serious about enjoying your car should do a school , Skip Barber, SCCA etc

 

addiction2bass, when you put on the new filter do you still hear the whistling sound? Cuz I bought an eBay CAI and took it off because I f****** HATE that sound. If a filter fixes it tho, I'll go and buy an AEM dry flow right away and slap that bad boy back on!!

 

I have ebay braces on my car front and rear too and they are awesome they came with the car, laughed at them until I drove it but wow the difference is insane! dont waste money on high dollar ones unless you are are going to the track- thats my 2cts
