The time has come for me to do a clutch on my Civic. 55000 miles, I know, a bit early. I bought the car with 43k and Im guessing the %%$ before me didn't drive too nice. I've been searching here and a couple of other forums and am having trouble finding info posted directly on pulling the trans. I am basically looking for advice.

Who has pulled a trans like this before?
What should I look out for?
Anything else I should consider doing while I am replacing the clutch?
Anyone have a link to some step by step or DIYs on tranny pulls?
What transmission fluid should I use? (just stick with OEM 10w30?)
Anyone ever throw some lucas stabilizer in there?

Everything on the car is pretty much okay. But if anyone has info, or a link to where I could find step by step advice would be greatly appreciated. Im thinking I need to drop the pass side strut, pull the axle, etc. I'm no newbie to working on cars, I am a HS Auto Shop instructor with ASE certs, but it's always easier when you do your research ahead of time and see what other problems people have ran into.
