4th gen auto to manual swap
hey i've got a 4th gen hatch,it's an automatic cx,planning on doing a transmission swap to 5 speed.I have one that's good that i may be able to pick up pretty cheap it's from a '92-95 4 door(not exactly sure of the year just know it's a d series motor). Just wondering if this is going to bolt up to my engine.I know i need the ecu to go with the trans but what else? will the mounts be different, can i use the pedal assembly or do i need one from the 4th gen.will i have any wiring difficulties to go along with this.Never done a transmission swap so i'm just trying to figure out what i'm getting into. Thanks in advance.
Just remembered my car is also obd0 so would i be better off to get an ecu from another 4th gen or will it even help at all?
