Default Action 1md or 1ms Clutch?

hey guys and girls,
I'm looking at buying a new clutch. I want to get the unsprung one since I read that after a while sprung clutches start to degraded and losen up. But I also read that unsprung clutches put alot of strain on the tranny? Anyone know how long this clutches last in a daily driver?

Thanks

I got the 2MS i havent had much of achance to test it out yet, but i did choose the sprung version just because i am running on a pretty worn tranny, and stock axels, i would sau unless u are drag racing alot go with the sprung version. but it is really up to u, and what u are comfortable with.

im going with the 2ms too, he recomended that over everything else for my setup

look into the kevlar clutches if your not racing constant and you want a great feeling clutch, he told me that they do actually engage just like stock... i would spend the extra money for that extra smoothe feel if i wasnt going to be abusing the clutch non stop

the kevlars just dont cool as well as the md / ms clutches

Unsprung clutches "theoretically" put more strain on the trans, but unless you think your gonna drive that car another 150,000 I wouldn't worry about it lol.

I just got an excedy clutch from pro street (an hour away from my house), it should hold fine for a while I think (hopefully because with school and this turbo, I'm damn broke for a long time[&:] )and also got a new light weight flywheel heheheh.

I really wanted to get the action clutch but I need my car to be ready as soon as possible because of school and also my dad is already tired of driving the family truck and wants his civic back ( is the car I've been using for the last 3 weeks) that I just settle with the excedy clutch since it was the only clutch I could find in stock locally.

but, I have to pay $300 to get it install since my parents were already tired of me having car parts all over the garage floor when I was installing my turbo that they made me take it to a shop[>:][:'(]. I really wanted to do it myself.....but with school starting today I wouldn't have time either.
