Auto to manual cost
Hi i know this has been covered alot but I am just wondering how much did you guys that swiched payed for switching from auto to manual transmission. It's a 2000 civic lx with a d engine

I am doing mine a a few months... Most places didn't even want to do it. But the one shop everyone goes to for the best stuff in my area quoted me anywhere from $1000-1500 on labor alone.
Parts are gonna cost you about $450-1000 depending where you get them
Here is a list for how much parts costed me.
P28 $35 on ebay (got a lucky deal)
Conversion harness $45 from a guy on another forum
Pedal assembly $70 on ebay
Clutch Master/Slave cylinder Brand New OEM $64 on ebay
Clutch Lines about $40-60 depends whereyou get em
Shifter, boot, **** $70-100 depends where you get em
Shift Linkage $100
Urathane bushings $15
5 Speed tranny anywhere from $150-400 again depends where you get it
(i had to get an manual IM for 2-wire IACV not sure if you will too thought)
Manual IM $60
I am reusing my clutch disc, flywheel, pressure plate since my tranny came out of a 40k mile car.
Clutch kit anywhere from $150-350
top tranny mount $50-150 depends where you get it.
any bolts or hardware needed $20
Labor anywhere from 1 day to 2weeks if you don't know what you are doing.
Experienced people can do it in 1 day. People who have never done it before can take up to 2 weeks or longer.
This will be my second auto to manual and should take me 2-3 days if all goes well.
