has anyone done an awd swap or has an awd civic?

although im new to civics, i wanna try to do a swap using a crv tranny and parts with a b18/b20 motor

 

It's usually done with an 88-91 Wagovan AWD chassis put onto a CRX.

 

im gonna try to just adapt my civic around the crv driveline, i think ill be able to do it, but ill need to put in a roll cage i think to reinforce the frame after i start to cut into it. I kno its a unibody so cutting it will weaken it.

 

ditto, me and my friend where actually just talkin about this today. It would be sick if you could do it to a 99 civic or something of that sort, and make it into a rally car LOL. Although a 4 wheel drive crx would be sick e****ially after its boosted. It would smash off the line!!!!

 

I too have thought about an awd civic. I would like to see someone on this forum accomplish this with a detailed build thread.

well id like to try but its hard to find a crv tranny, for under $1000, but ill keep trying for now im just going to do a b series swap and later get the awd tranny and go from there
