nope. one side has right thread, and another one left. I just don't remember which one is which.

I don't know what you are smoking but it must be some good stuff.......LOL...If the 89 si tranny has that than I'm in another world.

hmmmm... this looks more like sclerosis to me
just checked the service manual and parts list - yep, there is no such thing as left and right
and I just did axle replacement last year on my 92 Si

Sorry for wrong info, I was sure I was giving a good one []

Back to the issue. Spindle nut is always tough. Last time I was not able to move it, until I got 6 feet iron pipe in home depot and used it as extender on 18 inch 1/2 inch handle. I did not break anything, though....
