Axles?
So I took my '99 Si down the drag-strip for the first time yesterday, and with my luck, blew my driver's side axle. I was thinking about keeping my car off the road for a little, until I can afford some high performance axles. I was just going to replace the broken one with a stock one, but with my car's ride height, I know it's only a matter of time before it happens again. What are some good aftermarket axles? Are these any good? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/500-h...#ht_842wt_1188 If not what are some affordable, good quality recommendations? Thanks! -JW
I think those axles will be fine. I dont know about putting 500whp to them but if your pretty much stock then they'll work fine and should hold up better then your OEM axles
well im driving this low.......

never had any axle problems yet.....
but i dont have your HP i got a pathetic automatic sohc vtec thats all. but my height has no effect on the axles breaking at least not yet... been ruffly a year now.
IMO just buy a new axle from autozone or where ever that has a warente
and see if you can test that warente out and break another at the track
if so just yank it out and get another free.

No, If you look at my axles, where they were originally slanted down from the engine, they are now pointed up, if you get what I'm saying. I'll grab some pics in a little bit.
