Hey. I am building a Frank motor and am starting to think about the hook up i want to the wheels. My buddy gave me a serious ride in his Stang, and i liked that he could stay in first gear until around 50mph. I would like to get a similar set up for my Civic if that is possible. Any ideas? I must admit, i know absolutely Jane about trannies. What will work best with the B20 and/or B18 bottom end?

 

the ls tranny is the widest geared for your app.....although it seems nice staying in first around 50mph......honda engines dont have that kinda torque therefore closer gearing is neccesary.

if you want your car to be turboed, an ls trans is your best option. na you would want closer gearing like a type r or gsr tranny
