Best way to launch on auto tranny
The best way is going to cause premature failure in your engine and transmission as well as killing your brakes faster.
Anyway, come to a complete stop with the car in gear (doesn't matter which, the car will automatically start off in the lowest gear). Now, floor the brakes and slowly press in the gas pedal until the rpms stop rising. The point where they stop rising is your stall speed. Now, you want to hold the rpms at about 300rpm below the stall speed (using the brakes + gas method), and when you're ready, let off the brakes completely and floor the pedal the rest of the way at the same time. It's the quickest way from 0-60 with a normal automatic.
Have fun hurting your car (auto transmissions aren't meant to take abuse).
