cable to hydralic tranny conversion

Default cable to hydralic tranny conversion

OK here is the deal, I am putting my built d16z6 out of my 93 del sol into a 89 crx si, is there any way I can used my hydralic tranny out of the del sol in the xcrx, I have alot of money put into it, and do not want to have to buy a cable transmission

I think there's a conversion for hydro to cable. I'll look around.

Not to jack the thread, but what is the difference? Because I"m looking at B16a2's and I know there must be a reason why the cable tranny is $500 less.

not sure but in my opinion shifting is way more accurate and precise with hydralic, the linkages on cable always tend to jam up won the ones I have drove.

[align=left]I was curious of this also. I did some research and found nothing on converting cable clutch with hydralic. Not even if anyone has tried to modify anything with the firewall or pedal.

Dont know if anyone still reads this thread. But I found a company that makes a kit for Tegy's. Should have something for civics also. I didnt check. Anyway, Here is the link to the forum that I found it on.
