Conversion of Standard Tranny to Auto Tranny?

I was just wondering how much approx. it would cost to get this done at a mechanic shop?

Noooo. haha tons of people on hondacivicforum.com want to do the exact opposite. But labor alone id say at least $1,500

it'd probably cost more than that because of all the wiring involved in the swap to automatic
might as well just get a different civic and sell the manual if you want auto that bad

dito. i was gonna do the swap from one auto to the 5speed and vis versa BUT i was convinced not to do it with all the wiring nightmare thats very posible. so im gonna keep my auto a auto and manual a manual.

Dude i dont even know why you would want to switch to a auto. They are boring and plus you get better gas mileage in a stick if you can keep your rpms low haha. for me it would not be worth it at all i love my manual
