Can you put a regular transmission in an HX?
Hi,
This may sound like a stupid question, but I have a 98 Civic Hx with a CVT transmission and its already on its 3rd transmission. I'm wondering if its mechanically possible to put a non cvt transmission in the car?

Yeah, it's possible. Many people recommend replacing the HX tranny because the gears are so long. Your best bet would probably be to put in an y8 or z6 tranny.
