changing tranny b4ra to m24a auto, d16y7 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default changing tranny b4ra to m24a auto, d16y7 HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok i got a 96 civic cx hatchback with auto tranny that was acting like ****!! clunking long story short .. i took the tranny out (which was a b4ra) i heard they are garbage.... now i have a good tranny from my old civic 1995 d15b7 which is a m24a.. i would like to save money by just using m24a but it looks to be a little different what can i do about that? the tranny does bolt up but iut the wirring and lines i am worried about...any help ? anyone done this before?

should i just put it in and see how it work or is it a waste of time? maybe is there a computer ecu for these cars.?

Wiring is going to be a bitch and it won't be worth it. No one will have info for you on how to do it either, since you'd probably be the 1st or 2nd person to do so.

The reason for this is because 92-95 civics are OBD1 and 96-00 are OBD2. They have different wiring, and since automatics have a lot of wiring, that's gonna be the big problem.

P.S. all Honda automatics transmissions are equally garbage.

so you think maybe swaping to manual? would make things alot easier. since a used auto tranny is 350$ and a 5 speed is 150$
