Default Auto tranny engine to manual tranny: flywheel?

I am having trouble w/ an '89 D15B2 used engine flywheel issue: I think engine was an auto tranny engine; my 1.5 flywheel, when bolted up to the crank, causes the engine to turn over very hard. Is there another flywheel that I need to use, or does anyone know if maybe the factory auto tranny engine is not compatible with a man. tranny flywheel? (This engine uses a large, heavy, multiple-belt crank/damper pulley, which does not fit on the dead '91 D15B2, single-belt engine).

Default RE: Auto tranny engine to manual tranny: flywheel?

The flywheel was binding on the rear main seal that I hadn't recessed far enough into its bore. - Live and learn, I guess.
