Im about to buy a new civic SI for my g/f, but she cant drive a manual for anything. So i just want to swap it out for an auto i know kinda dumb but its the car she wants so what tranny would u guys recomend to use and wat year and kind of car for all the donor parts. And whats ur ideas wat this will around ball park figure?

What year civic? And, ummm, It would probably be easier to get a different car.

 

its a brand new car, and one way or another ill get an auto in there for her.

 

sov should know if u can match an auto up i think its going to take alot more work and parts than u think it is

 

well if she is buying a NEW CAR... just find one thats a auto......
never heard of swaping a manual to auto.LOL

but id still try to teach her how to drive a manual..... ya never know when youll have to drive a manual!
im not that great with a manual BUT im not to shaby either! just little tricks here and thier ive never picked up on cause only thing my dad taught me was to learn the clutch pedal position..... then i just drove around the yard OVER AND OVER geting used to it.LOL

 

its an 07 then i dont think ur gonna have ne luck

 

there's no way this can possibly be worth the hassle. buy an auto EX or make her learn how to drive the damn car

 

what about the si does she want, the seats? the grill? the fancy graphics on the rear doors? or does she want that extra 57hp?

 

i do not believe it has been attempted on an 07, imo, just tell her to get off her lazy *** and learn how to drive a stick. lol
