Default clutch not disengaging or ?

I just bought (5 days ago) a civic with a B18c swap. Evrything was fine untill yesterday when I could not get it to go in gaer without some force. It is also hard to shift between gears. I checked out the slave cylinder and it appears to be working ok. I can't find any info on travel dems for the fork. I checked under the boot, it had some fluid in it but is not constantly leaking. Starting the car in gear with the clutch depressed it appears to start moving as if the clutch is semi-engaged/slipping. Any other ideas on checking disengagement?

is it possible there could be air in the system? bad seals?

could be a bad disc, maybe your pilot bearing......

i had a similar problem with mine. but it wouldnt disengage at all, it turned out that one of the springs in the clutch disc broke out and fell down and got caught between the clutch and pressure plate, locking them together.

Check for fluid leaks in the engine, near the slave, and inside the footwell where the clutch master cylinder could leak. Verify that all air bubbles have been removed from the system.

I would suggest adjusting the piston on the clutch master in as far as it can go and see if that changes anything if everything above has been done and verified.

If there are not any changes, I would have to assume there is a problem with the pressure plate. If adjusting the pedal/CMC helps at all, I would suggest to replace the CMC as it may be going out.

Had the same problems with a 92 Hatch I had a little while ago. Replaced the CMC and the slave but no changes. Ended up being the "fingers" on the pressure plate being bent/broken. I never fixed it. Some guy ended up buying it off of me (knowing about the issue of course).

Question

i have replaced the master and slave cylinder. when i started working on my 1994civic ex the car would go in to gear and not move after replacing the master and slave cylinder and the clutch. i put it back together and now it will not go in to gear while the car is run. but i can shift through all the gears with the car off and i have adjusted the clutch pedal.
