continuous variable transaxle?

Default continuous variable transaxle?

how can i find out if i have a continuous variable transaxle?

A USDM '98 EX won't have a CVT.

But you literally will not feel the transmission shift. At all. Hard downshifts at the bottom of hills don't happen. Also, I have yet to see the shifter assembly for a CVT-equipped vehicle have your standard 1/2/D3/D4 selections; just D (with sportshift, usually).

I do believe the Lancer's Have em, Dont they? (in regards to the shifter) Because the lower Lancer's DO have the CVT in em.... their freakin weird...
