where are you at? Just get an axle with a lifetime warranty at a auto parts store like autozone. They run for about $100

RE: cv joint gone help
It is cake. There is a DIY for it in the DIY section. Don't worry about install. Just follow all directions and take your time. You will be fine.

RE: cv joint gone help
really easy...yhe hardest part will be "prying" it out of the diff...or the hub nut if you don't have a large enough socket. Expect to spend 2 hours doing it if you're not too comfy with hand tools...
P.S. and don't forget to refill the tranny with fresh fluid |
RE: cv joint gone help
Wow, I am a Auto Mechanic and have been in the field for about 7 years and this is only the second story I have heard of a CV Axle actually breaking. Crazy.

RE: cv joint gone help
I broke my CV's on multiple occasions...apparently people don't drive hard up where you live.
